Looking to pick up the occasional babysitting shift to supplement your other nanny work? Lighthouse is recruiting nannies and babysitters with valid freelance registration (able to write invoices) to pick up ad hoc shifts for both visiting and local families.
All our babysitters meet the exact same criteria as our nannies: Führungszeugnis, infant/child first aid and CPR certificate (Haftpflichtversicherung) at least 2 references from childcare roles.
Our babysitting jobs range from recurring roles with local families, to lending a hand to visiting families, to jumping in at the last minute with emergency care.
Our rates start from €25-€35 for basic babysitting, and go up to €45-€55 per hour for emergency care.
Other ways we protect our babysitters:
- 24 hour cancellation policy. If the family cancels less than 24 hours in advance for any reason, you’re still paid in full.
- Commuter policy. If you travel for more than 60 minutes to reach a family, your travel time is paid at 50% of your regular rate.
- Late night taxi. If you work past midnight, the family covers the cost of a taxi or Uber home.
- Late pick up fee. If parents are more than an hour late, you receive 150% of your regular rate.
